Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage has named David Benford as its vice president and director of operations, the real estate company announced this week.

In the position, Benford “will help to shape the company’s sales, marketing and budgeting strategies,” according to a press release.

“It is a great opportunity for me to be able to put all my experience to work in this company,” Benford said in a statement.

Benford was previously a sales manager at Sea Coast Advantage from 1993 to 1995,  the release stated. He later owned his own real estate company, Harbour Town Associates,  in Wilmington.

Before joining Sea Coast Advantage, “Benford was a multi-million dollar top producer in the Topsail Island market area,” the release stated.

“His experience and reputation will be a tremendous asset to the agents, staff and management of our company,” Tim Milam, the company’s president, said in a statement.
