Intracoastal Taps New Tech Training

By Alison Lee Satake, posted Apr 22, 2011

Technology has changed the real estate industry dramatically. To stay on top of the latest technological applications, Intracoastal Realty will host its bi-annual Technology Fair for its agents on Tuesday, April 26.

New this year, the company will launch Institute 2.0, a web-based professional development and marketing tool. Intracoastal Realty is the seventh company to subscribe to Institute 2.0, which is provided by a global network of 600 independent real estate companies, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.

The program offers trainings for real estate agents on a variety of topics including how to make a listing presentation, how to price a home, working with buyers and sellers, how to market differently to Generation X, Generation Y and Baby Boomers, said Chris Livengood, vice president of sales at Intracoastal Realty.

Intracoastal Realty agents identified the topics which include how to use video and web-broadcasting to directly communicate with clients at the spring technology fair. The company has purchased video cameras and will offer video editing workshops to its 250 agents.
