Susan Lacy, Intracoastal Realty and 2008 president of the Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors, was chosen as the dean for the North Carolina REALTOR® Institute.
Lacy is one of seven new deans selected from across North Carolina for 2009.
Her responsibilities will include administration of the institute by assisting the North Carolina Association of Realtor staff, coordinating faculty requests, enforcing the class policies set forth by the Board of Directors, and reporting to the president of the North Carolina Real Estate Educational Foundation after each institute session. Recipients are selected by the Deans Committee of NCREEF and must be approved by the NCREEF Board of Directors.
The institute, which is administered by the NCREEF, was established in 1962 and serves as the “educational arm” of the North Carolina Association of Realtors. This flagship program leads to the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) designation.
