Local investors recently purchased a 12,000-square-foot office building in Wilmington for $1.3 million.

The office complex, at 219 Racine Drive about a mile from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, was bought by real estate holding company Masonboro Capital Properties LLC, which is managed by Scott Winslow and Mark Nabell, owners of Wilmington-based Nabell Winslow Investments & Wealth Management.

The seller was PaulMark LLC, managed by Paula Turner.

"We felt like it was a good investment based on all the parameters," Winslow said Wednesday, including the complex's location and the fact that the building's nine office spaces tend to remain fully occupied.

Among the current tenants are Coastal Kids Therapy, MARS Memory Health, Robert Glenn and Associates and Comfort Keepers. Built in 1999, the structure sits on a little over an acre about two doors down from the Nabell Winslow office at 211 Racine Drive.

Mike Brown of Wilmington-based Cape Fear Commercial represented the seller in the transaction, while Carlton Fisher of Coastal Realty Co., also of Wilmington, represented Winslow and Nabell.

"We had multiple offers and were able to sell it within about two weeks," Brown said. "It was a good building in a good location, has good tenants and was priced appropriately."
