Another Aldi discount grocery store is being proposed in New Hanover County, this time on Market Street, according to a Technical Review Committee agenda.

The county's TRC is expected to discuss on Wednesday a commercial site plan that calls for an 18,900-square-foot Aldi at 7910 Market St., the agenda says. The owner of the property is Bayshore Estates Inc.

The agenda also says the projected build-out year for the Aldi is 2017. A site plan labeled with "Aldi: Wilmington (Marsh Oaks)" and a company logo shows 98 parking spaces in addition to the grocery store.

The TRC meeting is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Lucie Harrell Conference Room 601, New Hanover County Government Center, 230 Government Center Drive.

The first Aldi grocery store to be proposed in New Hanover would be built within city of Wilmington limits on a 4-acre site at 3701 S. College Road, if the project moves forward.
