Former The View Lot Under Contract For Sale

By Alison Lee Satake, posted Sep 12, 2011

Of the three downtown properties that recently had a private call for offers, one – the former View on Water Street property – is under contract. But, Cape Fear Commercial partner Brian Eckel, who facilitated the call for offer for BB&T Bank, which last owned the 101 N. Front St. property, said he could not comment further due to confidentiality.

In addition, some offers were entered on the Sawmill Marina property. Sun Trust Bank, which owns the property is considering those offers, he said.

Although the Bannerman Station parking lot property located at 316 N. Front St. received offers, none were acceptable to Sun Trust Bank, which also owns that property. It will go up for bid on Auction.com from September 19 to 21. The starting bid is $125,000.
