Two institutions -- St. George's, University of London Medical School and the University of Nicosia Medical School -- recently appointed Wilmington resident Edward Paul associate professor in optometry and nutrition at their respective schools, Paul's office announced in a press release.

Paul will guest lecture as a visiting professor in the UK and Cyprus, and he will work with students during clinical rotations at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, the release stated.  

A graduate of Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, Paul owns and operates Landfall Eye Associates and is the inventor of the patented TOZAL Comprehensive Eye Health Formula, a prescription eye vitamin for the prevention and treatment of macular degeneration.

Last year, Paul began offering CentraSight, a new treatment program using a tiny telescope implanted inside the eye to improve vision for patients with end-stage, advanced macular degeneration.

In addition to his D.O. degree, Paul also holds a Ph.D. in nutrition, the release stated.
