African American Business Council To Host Intentional Collision Event

Wilmington Chamber of Commerce’s African American Business Council (AABC) is hosting its second Intentional Collision event Thursday.

The event series is intended to connect professionals of different races and backgrounds, according to a chamber news release.

"Intentional Collision is a way to engage, educate, and excite participants about our community, to meet future collaborators, to build a stronger professional network, and to pursue career opportunities in our area," the release stated.

It takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the University of North Carolina Wilmington's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

"There is an inclusion-oriented activity planned for attendees to participate in, and food will be provided by On Thyme Catering," according to the release. "Intentional Collision is an event that is open to members and nonmembers of the Chamber of Commerce. Advance registration is strongly encouraged and is available online here."

The sponsors are Duke Energy and New Hanover Regional Medical Center , for providing the resources necessary to organize this important community event. The UNCW CIE is located at 803 S. College Road. Attendees can plan on meeting in the larger event room.
