CastleBranch To Host Career Fair

By Jenny Callison, posted Jan 22, 2015
To support its continuing growth, CastleBranch Corp. is in hiring mode and will hold a career fair Friday, according to a news release.

The positions available represent a “wider range” than the company has recruited for before, according to CastleBranch spokeswoman Elizabeth Bloch. They include senior software developer, digital marketing manager, business analyst, sales consultant, sales support specialist, customer service representative and data entry specialist.

Applicants are welcome to register by submitting resumes to [email protected]. Interested persons may also just walk in, bringing their resumes with them, the release stated.

The career fair takes place from 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the company’s headquarters, 1844 Sir Tyler Drive in Wilmington. More information about the company is available here.

When CastleBranch received an incentive package in early 2013 from New Hanover County and the City of Wilmington to expand locally, it agreed to invest at least $9 million in the new headquarters building and to hire at least 400 more people over the next five years. The new building, which company officials say cost $10 million, was completed this past May next to the company’s existing building.

Bloch said Thursday that the CastleBranch workforce has grown to just under 400 people, up from about 250 people at the time of the incentives award.

In its recruitment efforts, CastleBranch emphasizes its focus on work-life balance. Thursday’s news release mentioned its gym and free fitness classes, a 1-acre company garden and its food truck service through Vittles. The company also offers weekly paddleboarding and surfing outings, ping-pong tables, skee-ball, regular employee events and a casual dress code.
