Upcoming Conference To Detail Economic Forecasts

Area executives and institutional leaders are set to talk about the future of the local, national and global economy at the annual Economic Outlook Conference this month.
 
The event will take place at the Burney Center at the University of North Carolina Wilmington on Oct. 10, with registration and breakfast beginning at 7:30 a.m., and the program starting at 8 a.m.
 
The event is put on by UNCW’s Cameron School of Business and the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.
 
Those in attendance will hear economic forecasts and how to prepare for the future. Speakers include Joseph Quinlan, head of market strategy at Bank of America; Nathan Snell, co-founder and vice president of innovation at nCino; Abigail Dunne-Moses, senior faculty at Center for Creative Leadership; Thomas Simpson, executive in residence at the business school; and Adam Jones, regional economist with UNCW’s Swain Center and an associate professor of economics at the business school.
