The nonprofit organization Woodmen of the World hired recent University of North Carolina Wilmington graduate and Wilmington native Thomas Jones as a field representative.
At his new position, Jones will offer Pender and New Hanover County residents the Woodmen of the World life insurance products and annuities, according to a news release.
At UNCW, Jones studied business management and leadership, and he was a pitcher for the Seahawk baseball team.
“I decided to work with Woodmen of the World because of their long term commitment of financial stability to their members. I am looking forward to serving the insurance and financial needs of Wilmington residents,” Jones said in a statement.
