Leadership Award Finalists Named

The Wilmington Chamber Foundation recently announced the finalists for the Karl Davis Leadership Wilmington Alumnus of the Year Award for 2012.

Anne Patterson of New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Margaret Robison of Cape Fear Community College, Jimmy Hopkins of Intracoastal Realty Corporation, Dana Mckoy of CFCC and Kip Damrow of Interstate Hotels and Resorts were named as finalists.

The award is given annually in memory of Karl Davis, a visionary and Wilmington leader, graduate of Leadership Wilmington and the former general manager of WECT.

The recipient of the award must also be a graduate of Leadership Wilmington and must also, in the opinion of the selection committee, contribute significantly to the enhancement of the community through inspirational and visionary leadership. They must also contribute significantly to developing leaders within the community.

The award will be presented Aug. 9.
