East Carolina Bank names local office executive
East Carolina Bank named KENNETH SMITH as office executive for its Wilmington-Porters Neck office.
Smith will be responsible for office operations in addition to helping customers with financial and lending needs. According to a press release, Smith has 25 years of banking experience in Pender, New Hanover and Onslow counties, during which time he helped with introducing a new community bank to the market.

Clark appointed to CFCC board
The New Hanover County Board of Education approved the appointment of LARRY CLARK to the Cape Fear Community College board of trustees. Clark is the dean of the Cameron School of Business at University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He is a past board member and treasurer for New Hanover Regional Medical Center’s trustee board and past co-chairman of the Partners for Economic Inclusion.

Inclinix-PMG Holdings hires medical director
Inclinix-PMG Holdings, a global clinical trial site and patient recruitment organization, recently appointed Dr. JOHN RUBINO of Raleigh Medical Group (RMG) as medical director of Inclinix-PMG Holdings. Rubino will serve as the head of the principal investigator advisory board, according to a press release.

Intracoastal Realty group announces additions
ASHLEY WHITLEY and BILL BOYER have joined the Keith Beatty Team of Intracoastal Realty, the company announced. Whitley is the group’s new marketing director and brings more than five years of sales and marketing experience to the table. Boyer  joins the team as a broker associate/Realtor, sharing his 18 years of real estate experience with buyers and sellers.

Engineering firm adds to staff
McKim & Creed Inc., an engineering, geomatics and planning firm announced that SANDY PRIDGEN and JARED LAMBERT joined the company’s Wilmington office.
Pridgen is joining the firm as an accounts payable supervisor. Lambert accepted a position as a hydrographic supervisor.
