Phoenix Employment Ministry, an organization that helps people in need to find long-term employment, has announced seven new members of its board.
The newly elected individuals are Robert Dixon, a retiree from Arrowpoint Capital; Debbie Elliott, president of Talk Inc.; Gwen Flowers, owner of G Flowers Realty; JoAnne Fox, COO of Intracoastal Realty; Jimmy Hopkins, a Realtor with Intracoastal Realty; Suesan Sullivan, events manager for the Greater Wilmington Business Journal/WILMA; and Ty Watts, owner of Watts Marketing.
Established in 2002, Phoenix Employment Ministry empowers sheltered and nearly homeless people by helping them build self-confidence and hope, providing resources in a community environment, teaching job hunting skills, and helping them find and keep long term employment.
