MarineMax Wrightsville Beach recently completed a renovation of its facility at 130 Short St., including new furnishings, decor, lighting and more, according to a recent announcement.

Tyler Layton, MarineMax Wrightsville Beach general manager, said while the facility had some minor damage during Hurricane Florence in September, the refurbishing of the facility's showroom would have taken place regardless of the storm.

The boating retailer is hosting a grand reopening celebration from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday to show off the changes and share information about MarineMax.

"We've refreshed the facility and done some modernizing. It's just a really good opportunity to celebrate with our customers and showcase what we've done," Layton said.

A catered brunch and mimosas will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, and those who want to attend can RSVP online.

Based in Clearwater, Florida, MarineMax offers new, pre-owned, and brokerage boats and yachts ranging from 12 to 155 feet.
