LS3P Adds Architect; VP Is Honored

LS3P has announced the addition of Jaime Smith, who joins the firm as an architect in the Wilmington office. Smith, who earned a bachelor of architecture from Unversity of North Carolina at Charlotte, brings 15 years of professional experience at all stages of design and construction at firms in Wilmington and Raleigh. Her portfolio includes single- and multi-family residential projects, commercial upfits and both renovation and new construction.
 
Meanwhile, LS3P senior vice president and principal Paul Davis Boney (below) has been appointed by the national AIA President to the 2017 AIA National Ethics Council. The council is responsible for the interpretation and application of the AIA’s standards for ethics and professional conduct for AIA members nationwide. Boney will serve as chair of the AIA Ethics Council for 2017.
 
A third generation architect and graduate of the College of Design at N.C. State University, Boney has long been active in professional and community service at the local, state and national levels.
 
Boney is a current member of the New Hanover County Planning Commission and former member of the City of Wilmington Planning Commission. Boney is also a member of the University of North Carolina Wilmington Foundation and the N.C. State University Board of Visitors.
