As head of a web design and Internet marketing firm, Honsinger says he relies on technology to stay connected. “I do have ‘do not disturb’ times setup, but in the office when I walk away from my desk and get a chat, it pops up on my phone and watch. And I am a big believer in inbox zero.”

Regularly checks out the websites for web magazine Engadget.com, reddit.com and the Port City Foodies blog.

Listens to This Week in Tech podcast. “It has a good pace and lets me know if I missed any big stories I should know about in the tech industry.”

On television, watches shows centered around entrepreneurs – “like Gold Rush, Mad Men, and I can’t get enough of Shark Tank.”

Recommends reading anything written by Seth Godin, “and the book Hatching Twitter was really entertaining.”

Recent movie pick is Godzilla. “I haven’t ever been to a movie where the crowd got up and cheered in the middle of the movie.”

Go-to digital device is his smartphone. “I have been a user since the first iPhone, and it just works and can do anything. Back in the day I was on my desktop or laptop 90 percent of the time. Over the last five years with smartphone advancement, I can do virtually anything from it, and in some cases its a better experience then a PC.”
