Will Oden

Will Oden
Attorney, Ward and Smith P.A.

Will Oden, who heads up Ward and Smith’s workplace safety and health practice at the law firm’s Wilmington office, turns to technology to make both work and home life run a little more smoothly.

His go-to apps include Evernote for capturing ideas, Blinkist for easier- to-digest summaries and IFTTT to manage social media posts. Unroll.Me is helpful to unsubscribe from pesky junk emails, and LastPass keeps on top of password management.

Another must app is Venmo “for paying our 2-year-old’s babysitter so that my wife and I can have a date night.”

Oden also uses Audible to listen to audiobooks – mostly business books, The Great Courses series and biographies.

His current favorite podcasts are The Tim Ferriss Show from the early-stage technology investor and adviser; TEDTalks Business, Masters of Scale and StartUp.

Book recommendations include The Inevitable: Understanding the 12 Technological Forces That Will Shape Our Future by Kevin Kelly, StrengthsFinder 2.0 by Tom Rath and The Everything Store: Jeff Bezos and the Age of Amazon by Brad Stone.
