Bellamy Mansion Museum officials announced that executive director Gareth Evans was appointed to the N.C. Museum of History Associates Inc. Board of Directors.
 
“Having long enjoyed visiting the North Carolina Museum of History, I’m honored to have been asked to serve on the Board,” said Evans, in a news release.
 
Evans will serve on the Board of Directors until 2021.
 
Meanwhile, the Bellamy Mansion Museum is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Opening to the public in 1994, the museum at 503 Market St., in Wilmington, provides ongoing educational and cultural programs to the community.
