Some of the hospital’s achievements under his tenure include construction of an $11 million inpatient unit; equipment upgrades and new technology to include 3-D mammography, MRI and spine surgical service; design and construction of the Dosher Wellness Center; the start of Dosher Primary Care Network; and the recruitment of multiple physicians to the area.

Siemers has not yet shared what his next career move might be.

“I am proud of the progress we have made and am especially thankful to the Dosher team for their dedication and care for our community during my time here,” Siemers stated in the release.

Dosher Board of Trustees Chairman Robert Howard said in the release, “On behalf of the J.
