Lanier said patients appreciate the model, which Lanier likens to memberships offered at gyms and fitness centers.

This past year in particular, he helped create an innovative approach to develop the next generation of leaders across the healthcare community, and ultimately help shape the future of patient care.
“Dr. Pino initiated and co-designed a highly innovative approach to leadership development called the Healthcare Provider Leadership Program. The program offers a group of 30 high-potential providers a unique opportunity to grow as leaders while developing plans to further strengthen patient care. These leaders include attending physicians, well-regarded directors and providers, as well as a select number of residents and medical students. The group is organized into smaller teams, and each team oversees a medical practice such as Family Medicine, OB/GYN and Women’s Health, Neurology, Cardiology, Trauma Surgery, and others.”
