PPD Unit, CTCA Partner On Enrollment System

By Staff Reports, posted Aug 2, 2019
Accelerated Enrollment Solutions, a business unit of Wilmington-based PPD, has started working with Cancer Treatment Centers of America to help enroll cancer patients quicker in oncology clinical trials, according to a recent announcement.

Cancer Treatment Centers of America, which has five hospitals around the country and another five outpatient centers, has started using a service from Accelerated Enrollment Solutions called Optimal Justin- Time (JIT).

“Deploying the Optimal JIT methodology at sites managed by CTCA … has significantly shortened site activation time from as long as eight months to as little as two weeks, allowing cancer patients to enter trials faster and enabling AES clients to reduce the time needed for study startup,” stated a news release from PPD.
