NHRMC Rates High For Heart And Stroke Care

Healthgrades has announced that New Hanover Regional Medical Center has achieved five stars for its performance in heart failure and stroke care.

The achievement is part of the Healthgrades annual evaluation of nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide for 34 of the most common inpatient procedures and conditions.
 
Healthgrades is an online resource designed to help consumers make informed decisions. NHRMC’s achievement is part of new findings and data released by Healthgrades and is featured in the Healthgrades 2017 Report to the Nation.
 
“We are pleased to be recognized for our dedication to the health and wellbeing of our patients and the community,” said NHRMC President and CEO John Gizdic. “Our teams in cardiac, vascular, stroke, emergency services, critical care, neurology, respiratory, pharmacy and surgery have worked diligently to provide exceptional coordination, quality and outcomes for our patients.”
