NHRMC Implements New Safety, Security Guidelines

By Ken Little, posted Jul 14, 2017
Effective June 19, NHRMC has new visitor guidelines for its Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

Visitors to the Women’s & Children’s Hospital now have to provide identification and receive visitor access badges to enter the women’s and pediatric units.

These guidelines “are part of NHRMC’s culture of safety and dedication to security improvements as our main campus continues to grow and more community members visit their friends and loved ones,” a news release stated.

In addition to the visitor badges, more parking lot emergency call boxes and security cameras have been added, and NHRMC officials said the hospital was recruiting additional security staff.
