Novant Health Opens New Location In Southport

Novant Health OB/GYN opened a new location last month in Southport. The office is located at 1456 Howe St., Suite 201.

The Southport office is the fourth Novant Health OB/GYN location and will be staffed by physician Richard Thompson, according to a news release.

Thompson has been with Novant Health OB/GYN since 2014 and received his medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. Thompson completed his residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Novant Health OB/GYN provides obstetrical and gynecological care and offers a wide array of comprehensive services, including the latest in female stress incontinence and pelvic relaxation, as well as menopause and pelvic pain. For maternity patients, Novant Health OB/GYN offers full-service obstetrical care
