Acupuncture Clinic Opens On Wrightsville Avenue

By Ken Little, posted Dec 5, 2014
Carolina Beach Community Acupuncture recently opened a new clinic in the Easter Therapies Center at 3333 Wrightsville Ave., Suite M.

“We have just opened up a second location in the Wilmington area with our unique business model for acupuncture, herbal prescription therapy and Oriental Medicine,” owner Jeremy Linquist said in a news release.

Linquist said the clinic focus is on wellness, disease prevention, pain management, patient-centered care and personalized health care.

“Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine are part of the nation’s fastest growing integrative medical treatments. With a limited number of licensed acupuncturists in the Wilmington area and insufficient insurance coverage for the treatment itself, the attainability for those seeking to utilize the proven 3,000-year-old medicine is slim,” he said.

Carolina Beach Community Acupuncture has been open for the past four years at 1140 Lake Park Blvd., Suite I.

Acupuncture will be offered in both a community-style setting and also a private treatment setting.
