The Byrd Group Gains Certification

Interim Health Care-The Byrd Group received certification from The Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care.

In April, the company was surveyed by multiple registered nurse surveyors and attained the certification. Additional survey teams will review the company every three years to assure the continued provisions of exceedingly high service to all clients, according to a press release.

The Byrd Group, has three separate corporate entities across the state: The Byrd Healthcare Group LLC, Interim Healthcare of the Triangle LLC and Interim Healthcare of the Eastern Carolinas Inc.

The company provides health care services with 11 local office locations and serves counties in southeastern North Carolina.

The agency offers private duty nursing services to patients in their homes or in health care facilities.

Interim HealthCare also provides supplemental medical staffing for health care facilities, schools, factories, flu clinics and other places where a professional medical staff is required.
