Stanley Named Dosher Foundation President

By Ken Little, posted Mar 28, 2014
Dosher Memorial Hospital and the Dosher Hospital Foundation recently named Lynda Stanley as president of the foundation.

Stanley has been an employee of Dosher Memorial for 28 years and has held a number of key positions there, including director of laboratory services and senior vice president/chief operating officer.

Most recently, Stanley had responsibility for Dosher’s Service Excellence initiative and planning for the hospital’s upcoming Patient Care Unit renovation.

As president of the hospital’s foundation, Stanley will be responsible for its philanthropic outreach, including annual events such as its golf outing and spring gala. She will also work with the foundation’s board of directors to grow community awareness and support for the group’s  annual giving, planned giving, major gifts and capital campaign programs.

“In the years to come, the Dosher Hospital Foundation will take on a major role in enhancing the services and outreach of Dosher Hospital throughout Brunswick County,” Tom Siemers, president and CEO of Dosher Memorial, said in a release.

Stanley said she was excited about the opportunity to support the hospital’s mission and work with the foundation’s board of directors.

“Serving as the Foundation’s president will allow me to help secure and enhance healthcare for our community by building and maintaining relationships so the community will understand the need to support Dosher,” she said in the release.
