NHRMC Releases Smartphone App

By Staff Reports, posted Oct 4, 2019
New Hanover Regional Medical Center recently launched a smartphone app to help patients get around its main South 17th Street campus and to its other facilities.

The free NHRMC app, which was developed by Atlanta-based Gozio Health, “provides system-wide navigation guiding patients from their home to the correct parking location and within 4 feet of their appointment destination inside the hospital,” a news release stated.

The app includes turn-by-turn navigation inside of six NHRMC hospital and health care facilities.

Through the new app, patients can also access their MyChart, which includes information from their electronic medical records, find a doctor and find listings about health and wellness resources, classes and events.

The app, which is available in English and Spanish, can be downloaded through Apple’s App Store or Google Play or by texting “Get App” to (910) 218-9641.
