Health Providers Hired To Treat Pediatric Digestive Orders

By Brie DeFlavio, posted Aug 14, 2012

The Coastal Children’s Services recently announced that Robert “Chip” Williams and Nannette Blois-Martin have joined the team to bring children and teens in the community more specialists to turn to in the fight against digestive disorders.

Williams is a pediatric gastroenterologist who will begin seeing patients in August at New Hanover Regional Medical Center’s Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

Blois-Martin is a pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in the care of children with gastrointestinal conditions.

Williams and Martin will be treating patients for ailments ranging from the simple to the complex, including abdominal pain, reflux, vomiting and Crohn’s disease, as well as procedures such as endoscopies, sigmoidoscopies and colonoscopies.
