J. Chad Knight recently joined New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC) as the new administrator of the Zimmer Cancer Center. He plans to focus on the growth and development of the cancer program, as well as clinical trials and research programs.
“I have been very impressed by NHRMC’s commitment to a comprehensive, high-quality cancer program and am looking forward to continuing to offer this community cancer care that is patient-centered, easily accessible, and of the highest quality,” Knight said.
Knight was the director of oncology services at Tanner Health System in Georgia. He has been in the healthcare industry for more than 10 years.
The Zimmer Cancer Center offers outpatient services such as chemotherapy, infusion treatment and radiation therapies. It is the only community cancer center in Southeastern North Carolina dedicated solely to the diagnosis, treatment and support of people with cancer.
