Dr. Rachel McLean recently joined the practice at Cape Fear OB/GYN.

McLean is a graduate of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, W. Va. She completed her residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

McLean joins doctors Linda McClain, Joel Snipe and Pamela Novosel, in addition to nurse practitioners Carol Flaugher and Susan Lorencz, at Cape Fear OB/GYN. All six providers are accepting new patients at the Cape Fear OB/GYN office, 1717 Shipyard Blvd., Suite 200. Novosel joined the practice in August, and Snipe joined the practice one year ago.

“I have enjoyed being in Wilmington and I look forward to getting to know the community even better,” McLean said in a prepared statement.

“My main priority is to ensure that each of my patients receives excellent, high-quality health care at every stage of their life,” she said.

The doctors and nurse practitioners at Cape Fear OB/GYN offer a full range of obstetrical and gynecologic care, including major and minor gynecologic surgery, pelvic relaxation and incontinence therapy. They also offer in-office ultrasound service, bone density testing and post-menopausal care.
