When Kleantis Pechlizanidis and partners Matthewe Skutnik and Brian Gormley opened Green Line Pizza & Steak in Ogden Town Center a year and a half ago, they thought they had the perfect business model.

“We really thought that pick-up and delivery was the way to go,” Pechlizanidis said. “But we had such positive feedback, and lots of people asking for seating.”

In February, Green Line Pizza & Steak, 7134 Market St., expanded into the neighboring unit. After five months of renovations, the majority done by Pechlizanidis himself, the space now houses seating for 50 guests.

The space is modern and casual, done in earth-tone tiles and sleek wood and metal tables and chairs. Full table service is now available, and an application for a beer and wine permit has been filed.

“We intend to be a very family-oriented restaurant with casual, comfortable dining,” Pechlizanidis said.

Pechlizanidis said the restaurant is known for its pizza and Philly cheesesteaks, but several new appetizers have been added to the menu such as house-made, beer-battered onion rings, fried calamari and mozzarella sticks. Also new to the appetizer menu is the skinny pizza; a thin-crusted pizza with organic extra-virgin olive oil, chopped fresh garlic, fresh and shredded mozzarella cheese, flame-roasted red peppers, chopped tomato and onion, oregano and a balsamic glaze.

The full Green Line menu is still available for pick-up and delivery. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
