Commissioners To Convene Friday

New Hanover County commissioners will hold a special meeting this Friday to "determine strategies and priorities" for the county ahead of crafting the fiscal year 2015-2016 budget, officials announced Monday.

At the commissioners' regular meeting Monday morning, county manager Chris Coudriet termed the session a planning retreat. It will be held in the Oleander Room of the NHC Executive Development Center, 1241 Military Cutoff Road, beginning at 8 a.m.

Coudriet said the meeting was expected to last about four hours.
