Gov. Roy Cooper will speak during the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce's 150th Annual Meeting in March, according to an announcement Wednesday.

Cooper will provide the keynote address at the meeting, which is scheduled for 5:30-8 p.m. March 14 at Windell Daniels Hall at Cape Fear Community College's Union Station, 502 N. Front St.

Also at the event, representatives from advertising and marketing firm Eckel & Vaughan are expected to unveil creative aspects of the chamber’s regional marketing initiative, including the tagline and logo, that will launch during the Wells Fargo Championship in May, according to a news release.

Wilmington chamber board Chairman Charlie Mattox and newly appointed chamber President and CEO Natalie English will also discuss their vision for the chamber and areas of focus. A reception will follow the business portion of the annual meeting.

Attendance at the meeting is open to Wilmington Chamber of Commerce members at a cost of $65 per person.  Attendance for non-chamber members will be available on a space-available basis at the same cost.

Registration for chamber members is available online, and non-members can call Megan Canny, member services director, at 762-2611, ext. 202, or email [email protected] for reservations.
