Lisa Brooks, a self-care expert, shared her take during Wednesday's BizTalk on how we can manage an emotionally trying time.
Brooks is a licensed clinical social worker and founder of Wilmington Thrive Tribes. She also holds a full-time faculty position in the School of Social Work at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
Her present scope of practice is encouraging transformation self-love and self-sovereignty amongst women and mental health professionals that are exposed to high levels of stress and trauma.
