Coastal Horizons Center has welcomed Bill Shriver as the organization’s new chief financial officer.

Shriver joins Coastal Horizons Center following 35 years with IBM, where he was most recently CFO of the Watson Customer Engagement Business Unit, according to a press release.

While at IBM, Shriver held numerous finance executive roles covering the company’s Software Business and Global Sales and Distribution, officials said in the release. He began his career with IBM at their RTP campus after earning his master's degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Coastal Horizons has also added two physicians to its medical staff in the Opioid Treatment Program.

Michael Odibo was hired as the medical director. Odibo is an internal medicine specialist with extensive experience in various outpatient and inpatient medical settings, according to the release.

Tony Njapa was hired to serve as a physician and back up to the medical director. Njapa has experience in both general practice and addiction medicine.

In addition to the two new leaders, the Opioid Treatment Program has expanded to accommodate patient treatment seven-days a week and has the capacity to admit most patients to the program within 24 to 48 hours of walking in the door, officials said in the release.
