Live Oak Debuts Quarterly Report For Businesses

By Jenny Callison, posted Sep 6, 2019
Live Oak Bank has launched a quarterly report that will provide analysis of business and economic issues, the bank announced last month.

Called BusinessPulse, the report “provides detailed analysis and reporting on economic position, economic confidence, and credit outlook for small and middle market companies,” officials said in a release. The data is provided by Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Barlow Research Associates Inc. The firm, according to the release, surveys more than 2,800 companies across the U.S. to gather current viewpoints and draws on 10 years of data to provide research on trends to the commercial banking sector.

Accompanying each quarter’s BusinessPulse will be a video by Live Oak leadership covering the report’s highlights to help business owners make informed decisions.

The first issue of BusinessPulse, focused on the third quarter of 2019, features the bank’s President Huntley Garriott and Chief Credit Officer Steve Smits discussing recommended proactive approaches businesses can take to matters of succession, credit and real estate. The report and video are at liveoakbank.com/businesspulse.
