IronGate Partners Joins Chicago-based HighTower

By Vince Winkel, posted Nov 1, 2016
IronGate Partners, a wealth management firm based in Wilmington, has joined the HighTower community.

IronGate is a registered investment adviser (RIA) overseeing $250 million in assets.

“We’re excited about this partnership,” said Chris Jones, IronGate’s COO. “They expand our depth of services.”

"The HighTower culture embraces and encourages our independent spirit while enabling us to collaborate with some of the top professionals in our industry," Jones said. "HighTower's platform provides the sophisticated resources, and the freedom, to help drive the growth of our business."

IronGate remains a fully independent firm.

“HighTower provides the platform by which we will be serving/working with our clients. We will be a part of their corporate RIA. It's an independent broker dealer/RIA platform," Jones explained.

"The addition of IronGate Partners continues our pattern of unprecedented growth throughout 2016," said Michael Parker of HighTower in a news release. "The IronGate team exemplify the high caliber of independent financial advisor that sets HighTower apart."

IronGate Partners was founded in 2004 and works with clients across the country. It currently employs 10 full-time staff.

HighTower was founded in Chicago in 2007, and last year was listed by Forbes Magazine as No. 2 in the magazine's Top 100 Wealth Managers List, with more than $30 billion under the company's management.

IronGate Partners is the 11th new team to join HighTower this year, making 2016 a record-breaking year of growth for HighTower.

IronGate is headquartered at 2601 IronGate Drive in Wilmington.
