IronGate Partners recently announced the hiring of Michael Boggio as managing director and senior portfolio strategist for its newly-formed IronGate Investment Management.

IronGate Investment Management will offer a suite of managed volatility investment portfolios, according to a press release.

The portfolios track a family of proprietary adaptive indexes that IronGate Investment Management will be actively offering to outside advisors, brokers, wealth managers, family offices, trust companies and institutional investors, the release stated.

Boggio was previously chief investment officer at Old North State Wealth Management. He has also worked as senior wealth manager at Smith Barney as a portfolio strategist with an investment partnership based in New Jersey, and as an equity research analyst at Institutional Capital Corp in Chicago.

Boggio, who has lived in Wilmington for the past 13 years, also has served as New Hanover Regional Medical Center trustee, where he sat on the finance and audit committees.
