Badillo, Vargas In New Roles For U.S. Cellular In Wilmington

U.S. Cellular has named Roy Badillo store manager for its Wilmington store at 343 S. College Road and Luis Vargas sales manager for the store at 1414 S. College Road. Badillo has four years of wireless experience, and Vargas (at left) has two years of wireless experience, according to a news release from the company.

“I am excited to have Roy and Luis join the Wilmington team, and I’m confident that their leadership skills will guide our team to help our customers in the area with their wireless needs,” Jeremy Taylor, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in eastern North Carolina, said in the release.

Badillo most recently served as sales manager for U.S. Cellular in La Vale, Maryland. Vargas formerly was a retail wireless consultant for U.S. Cellular in Wilmington.

Chicago-based U.S. Cellular is the fifth-largest full-service wireless carrier in the country, according to the release.
