Atlantic Shores Environmental Services (ASE) recently added Elliot Swain to its team.

Swain holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from East Carolina University and a Master of Science degree in environmental studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

He has worked at the Brunswick Nuclear Plant in Southport, the former Higgins power plant in Oldsmar, Florida, and numerous plant sites throughout eastern North Carolina, according to a news release.

Swain will benefit ASE with his experience in health and safety policy, air monitoring, engineering oversight, wetland delineations, concrete sampling and groundwater monitoring and sampling for remediation oversight, officials said.
