Travis Adams has joined Ward and Smith Business Consulting as a consultant supporting the firm’s Longleaf Entrepreneur Program.
Adams "is a seasoned entrepreneur and strategic advisor with first-hand experience navigating the challenges of business growth, leadership transition and long-term planning," a news release stated. "As the former CEO of his family's own enterprise, he successfully quadrupled revenue while transforming company culture and positioning the business for sustainable success across generations."
Along with other entrepreneurial pursuits, Adams also co-founded the Apex Leadership Co., a Fortune 250 company acquired by Neighborly in 2021.
“Travis brings a unique combination of entrepreneurial experience, strategic insight, and practical leadership to our consulting team,” said Will Oden, president of Ward and Smith Business Consulting LLC, in the release. “His ability to guide founders through growth and transition aligns perfectly with Ward and Smith Business Consulting's mission to provide management consulting services to closely-held businesses.”
In his role with the Longleaf Entrepreneur Program, he will work with business owners and founders "to help them de-risk their businesses, maximize profitability and grow with greater focus and purpose – both professionally and personally," the release stated.
