Community Association Management Services (CAMS) has promoted Emily Ndlovu to accountant, according to a news release.

In her new role, she will oversee accounting functions for a portfolio of community associations managed by the company, the release stated. This includes all activities required to produce monthly financial report packages for her portfolio. In addition, Ndlovu will work closely with CAMS community managers to provide their boards of directors with the data and resources they need to manage effectively, according to the release.

Ndlovu joined CAMS in 2021 and most recently served as an accounting clerk. In that role, she focused on opening and closing bank accounts, managing Certificates of Deposit for homeowners associations and filing taxes.

According to the release, Ndlovu has worked in the accounting sector since 1997, and she has extensive experience handling payables, receivables, banking and cost accounting and purchasing.

Ndlovu holds a bachelor's degree in operations management and accounting from Bridgewater State University.

"I am excited about this next step in my career and look forward to continuing to provide clients with the excellent level of service they've come to expect from Community Association Management Services," Ndlovu said in the release.

"In addition to her impressive accounting skills, Emily is eager to learn and always willing to help her fellow team members and clients," said Cathy Wade, COO of CAMS, in the release. "She brings an infectious enthusiasm to a role often perceived as unexciting by those who do not necessarily love numbers."
