Intracoastal Realty Corp., a Wilmington-based residential real estate firm, added more agents in February. They include Diana Heath at the Carolina Beach office; PJ Gray and Christy Willard at the Lumina Station office; Izzy Smith at the Pointe at Barclay office; and Viviana George at the Porters Neck location.
Heath is an internationally known author and research professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, according to a news release.
"She brings intimate and vast knowledge of Wilmington and Carolina Beach neighborhoods, beaches, schools, businesses, restaurants, and even history after living here for over 20 years," the release stated. "Diana enjoys spending time with her children and husband as well as exploring all of what southeastern North Carolina offers."
Gray graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in hospitality management and started her career as a luxury travel advisor.
"After 10 years in the industry, she realized that there is no place like home," according to the release. "She’s excited to start her new career journey as an agent at Intracoastal Realty. She enjoys getting out on the water with her husband and two pups. When she is not on the boat exploring Masonboro Island, you can also find her in the studio as a Pure Barre instructor."
Willard earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and a minor in English from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. During her time at UNCW she also studied film and education. After graduation, Willard returned to Raleigh where she worked in human resources for Fidelity Investments. Her husband’s career in the Marines had them relocating all around the country, until they settled in Hampstead.
"When Christy isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family at the beach, boating and hiking," the release stated.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Smith grew up in White Lake. After graduating high school summa cum laude with an associate's degree, Smith moved to Wilmington and attended a business program at UNCW. After completing a year of business school, she decided to pursue her passion for real estate. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and being on a boat and she loves to cook, according to the release.
Originally from Guerrero, Mexico, George moved to Wilmington when she was young, and she is fluent in both English and Spanish. She started her career as an orthodontic assistant after graduating as class president of her dental assisting class. Later, she decided to earn her associate's degree from Cape Fear Community College.
"Her passion to help others lead her to shift careers and journey into real estate," according to the release. "Her moto is 'you can do anything you set your mind to.' In her spare time, she enjoys adventures with her husband and son."
