Wilmington-based internet and IT service provider CloudWyze has hired a technical support manager and project coordinator, according to a recent announcement.

A 25-year veteran of the IT industry, Dan Dolak joins CloudWyze as senior manager of technical support after a 19-year career with Liberty Healthcare Management.

During his years in the IT industry, Dolak has served as the webmaster for Howard Hanna Real Estate in Pittsburgh, support specialist for New Hanover County and the director of information systems for Liberty Healthcare Management, where he led a 15-member support team serving more than 75 offices and more than 4,000 employees.

According to a news release, Dolak "brings a wealth of knowledge to the CloudWyze team with his focus on mobile devices, wireless, and systems infrastructure as related to the HIPAA environment."

He earned his bachelor's degree in computer information systems from Robert Morris University and his MBA from UNCW. Dolak is also an avid photographer having recently sold several pieces.

CloudWyze also hired Maria Malone (pictured at right) as project coordinator.

Malone was most recently with Charter Communication in Albany, New York, for three years as a project coordinator. With Charter, Malone implemented hybrid fiber coaxial construction systems, tracked projects and was responsible for budgeting and permitting.  

Prior to project coordinating, Malone was a litigation paralegal with Hinman, Howard & Kattell LLP. She attended State University of New York Brockport.
