Highland Roofing Co. has promoted Bill Kohaut to project manager at the firm's Wilmington office, according to a news release.

In his new role, Kohaut is responsible for working with Highland’s production team to lead new construction and reroof projects in the Cape Fear region.

“It makes me so happy to be able to promote employees from within the company,” Iain Fergusson, president and owner of Highland Roofing Co., said in the release. “Bill’s affable personality, technical knowledge and operations skills make him a perfect fit for this position and we are pleased to provide him this opportunity and further deliver an exceptional experience to our customers.”

Kohaut joined the firm in 2019 as a construction manager. He previously served more than 20 years in project management and superintendent roles for two commercial roofing companies in New Jersey.

“It’s a pleasure to work and make a difference at Highland,” Kohaut said in the release. “I’m delighted to serve in this new capacity and appreciate the opportunity to do so.”
