Pat Sykes
Brunswick County Commissioner Pat Sykes has been appointed chair of the Trillium Health Resources Southern Regional Advisory Board, according to a news release.

Sykes started a one-year term as chair this month. Trillium Health Resources is a "local governmental agency (LME/MCO) that manages mental health, substance use and intellectual and developmental disability services in Brunswick County and other eastern North Carolina counties," stated the release.

Sykes was appointed to the Trillium Health Resources Southern Regional Advisory Board as a member in 2017. She most recently served as its vice chair for the 2019-2020 session, stated the release.

“It’s a privilege for me to be appointed to this position and I am looking forward to a year of hard work and planning to support Trillium’s initiatives,” Sykes said in the release. “Ensuring we have programming and services dedicated to mental health and substance abuse is a key focus area for the Board of Commissioners. I’m proud to play a part in achieving that goal.”
