H.W. Kaufman Group and its subsidiary Burns & Wilcox have announced the promotion of Berri Willis to associate vice president, managing director, according to a news release.

Willis oversees the Charlotte, Wilmington and Morehead City offices as associate vice president, managing director, officials said. In her previous role, Willis was the managing director of the Charlotte and Wilmington offices.

Willis was one of 24 leadership promotions across the firm's 15 locations in North America. She has been with Burns & Wilcox for 11 years.

H.W. Kaufman Group and its subsidiary Burns & Wilcox, a North American wholesale insurance broker and underwriting manager, publicly announced the leadership promotions in November. The promotions were revealed during the 2019 Kaufman Leadership Meeting, stated the release.

Berri received a bachelor's degree from Meredith College.
