Scott Girard Joins Novant Health Family Medicine Pine Forest

Novant Health has welcomed Scott Girard to Novant Health Family Medicine Pine Forest in Oak Island, according to a news release.

Girard, a board-certified physician in internal medicine, joined the clinic in June, stated the release. The practice is located at 2950 Pine Plantation Parkway.

Prior to joining Novant Health, he worked in Concord at Carolinas HealthCare System, officials stated in the release. Last year, Carolinas HealthCare System became Atrium Health.

Girard holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Anna Maria College in Paxton, Massachusetts. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
